Archipelago Cap pattern

Size:
Adult average. Short/long approximately 8”/10” (20.3/25.4 cm) from crown to brim. Adjust size by changing the needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, samples made with Jamieson’s Spindrift (25 g, 115 yds/105 m).

Short version
(C1) 160 Midnight - 83 yds (76 m);
(C2) 170 Fjord - 44 yds (40 m);
(C3) 134 Blue Danube - 39 yds (36 m);
(C4) 425 Mustard - 11 yds (10 m);
(C5) 304 White - 28 yds (26 m).

Long version
(C1) 319 Artichoke - 105 yds (96 m);
(C2) 789 Marjoram - 50 yds (46 m);
(C3) 1130 Lichen - 50 yds (46 m);
(C4) 1270 Purple Haze - 17 yds (16 m);
(C5) 127 Pebble - 33 yds (30 m).

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.25 mm and US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
