Shetland Wool Week 2023 pattern by Alison Rendall.

Alison writes, “Buggiflooer is the Shetland word for sea campion which, growing in abundance around Shetland’s coast, is the inspiration behind this design. In my designs I like to support Shetland language and culture by using Shetland words keeping them in the forefront of people’s minds.”

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.

Size:
Small, medium. large.

Included:
Six colors of Jamieson’s Spindrift, 100% Shetland wool (42 g total, enough for any size in the pattern) OR
Six colors of Jamieson & Smith Supreme Jumper Weight, 100% Shetland wool (full skeins, 750 g total).

You will need:
Pattern, found here. 
Needles and notions: US 3/3.25 mm needles for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
