Campanula Hat pattern

"This cap was inspired by a walkabout on Isle Royal on a very wet day. The brave campanula was shining in all its glory. The top of the hat represents the early autumn color of the aspen against the green of the evergreens above the forest floor. It wasn't until I was done with the design on paper that I realized the hat has several rounds with three colors, but I decided to go with it. Once you get into the rhythm of using three colors in a round, it really isn't so bad. Plus, the results are pretty!" ~Joan

Size:
Adult average (21"). Adjust size by changing needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, sample made with Jamieson's Spindrift (25 g, 115 yds/105 m).

(A) 726 Prussian Blue - 23 yds (25 m);
(B) 136 Teviot - 23 yds (25 m);
(C) 134 Blue Danube - 29 yds (32 m);
(D) 336 Conifer - 46 yds (51 m);
(E) 144 Turf - 32 yds (29 m);
(F) 274 Green Mist - 23 yds (25 m);
(G) 9291 Burnt Ochre - 41 yds (44 m).

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.5 mm and US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two- and three-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
