Geometric Beaded Scarf pattern

“Simple garter-stitch knitting is enhanced with beads. The weight that the beads add to the scarf makes this accessory feel wonderful around your neck. Knit in two pieces, the fringe is formed as part of the cast on, and the two halves are grafted together in garter stitch. Instructions are included for stringing the beads. Size:
5.75"/14.6 cm wide x 46"/117 cm long (measurement excludes fringe).

Yarn:
Sport or fingering weight, sample made with hand-painted Henry’s Attic Carrera.
One color, 360 yds/329 m.

Needles and Notions:
US 3/3.25 mm or size to achieve gauge. 12 strands 6/0 seed beads (approximately 1,900 beads total), stitch holder, tapestry needle. 

Skills:
Loading pre-strung beads onto yarn, following a chart, grafting in garter stitch.
