Great Lakes Hat MFF 2020 pattern

"This is the second in a series of hats celebrating Michigan Fiber Festival and all our great state has to offer. The motif was selected by my 2019 Fair Isle students at MFF. The lighthouse is inspired by the Rock Harbor Lighthouse on Isle Royale." ~Joan

Size:
Approximately 21". Adjust size by changing the needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, sample made with Jamieson’s Spindrift (25 g, 115 yds/105 m). 
Six colors:
(A) 665 Bluebell - 70 yds (64 m);
(B) 410 Cornfield - 6 yds (5 m);
(C) 304 White - 60 yds (55 m);
(D) 500 Scarlet - 20 yds (18 m);
(E) 727 Admiral Navy - 70 yds (64 m);
(F) 103 Sholmit - 25 yds (23 m).

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.25 mm and US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge. Stitch marker, tapestry needle. Optional: 22 clear (uncolored, transparent) 8/0 beads and beading wire or size 12 steel crochet hook. 

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
