Year's ago we sold yarn for a local alpaca farmer. I asked him if he had a hat made from his fiber and he said that he did not. Michigan winters can get mighty cold, so I made this hat with a long, double thick hem. It is warm. John appreciated it and ever since it has been a free hat pattern in the shop, appropriately named John's Hat. --Joan
