My First Socks pattern

Sizes:
Foot circumference in inches measured at ball of foot: 6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10).

Yarn:
Sock weight yarn.
One color: 250 (300, 325, 400, 500) yds [228 (274, 297, 366,457)] m. 

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch holder (optional), tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, short rows, picking up stitches.
