Shades of Norway Hat pattern

"When I visited Norway, I was struck by how many homes are painted either orange or red. Rather than standing out in the landscape, the colors are very organic and the homes seem like they sprouted there. The evergreens in Norway are taller, greener, and remarkable. At times their braveness makes you catch your breath: 'how did that tree ever grow there?' Norway, after all, is the land of trolls. Maybe they had something to do with the beauty and majesty Norwegians live with every day." ~ Joan

Sizes:
Small, medium, large (21," 22," 23").

Yarn:
Fingering weight, sample made with Rauma Garn Finull (50 g, 191 yds/175 m).
Four colors:
(A) 406 Oatmeal - 180 yds (165 m);
(B) 1486 Green - 40 yds (37 m);
(C) 435 Red - 25 yds (23 m);
(D) 434 Orange - 25 yds (23 m).

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.50 mm and US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two color stranded knitting, following a chart.
