Bavarian Lace Scarf pattern

“One of a series of simple lace scarves that are perfect for gift giving. The patterns are easily memorized and will become "conversation" knitting for many. Our sample is knit in fingering weight yarn, but you can use any weight yarn you like by increasing or decreasing repeats and changing the needle size." ~Joan

Size:
Blocks to 7"/17 cm wide x 57"/144 cm long. Adjust size by changing the needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, sample made with hand-painted Henry’s Attic Carrera (454 g, 2,000 yds/1,829 m). 
One color: 325 yards/297 m.

Needles and Notions:
US 5/3.75 mm or size to achieve gauge. Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Following a chart (optional), simple lace knitting.
